Recognition and Legal Framework
Legal Status: BIBT operates as a “Private Higher Education Institution” in Flanders, Belgium, under Article II.75, §5 of the Higher Education Law ("Codex Hoger Onderwijs," 2013).
Accreditation: Our programmes are designed in full compliance with Belgian educational laws and align with internationally recognized standards. Through strategic partnerships, we are fully prepared to deliver higher education pathways that enable degree awards via franchise, validation, or articulation.
TNE Partnerships: We follow a simplified procedure for establishing Transnational Education (TNE) partnerships and franchises. The Ministry of Education recognizes TNE qualifications, and graduates can obtain simplified equivalency through NARIC Belgium.
